AION 2 · Market & trading
On Global, selling and buying on the Market both need an active Special Quai Membership. Here's what NCSOFT has confirmed, what a sale really nets, whether the membership pays for itself through selling, and a private log for the prices you see on your server.
Short answer (checked October 23, 2026). On AION 2 Global you can't list items or buy on the Market without an active Special Quai Membership, $14.99 for 30 days per server. NCSOFT hasn't published a Market fee, listing limits or price data, so prices are whatever players on your server set. See every rule with its source, or jump to the calculator.

Bought from [In-Game Menu] → [Subscribe]. The 30 days start when you press Activate. It covers every character on the server you bought it on, not your characters on other servers. Prices in other currencies vary with the exchange rate.

You can buy more time once fewer than 60 days remain, and each purchase adds another 30 days. The limit is 3 purchases per server per month.

The Kina ↔ Quna Exchange, Remote Storage, the Wind Breeze Merchants shop menu, a larger Odyle Energy cap, a second Odyle Energy injection on Expedition, Transcendence and Sanctuary cubes, and a Shugo Festa Key cap of 21 instead of 12. The World Exchange was removed from the benefits in an update.

The membership notice lists Personal Trade 5 times a day, with both players needing an active membership. A September 19 notice said direct player-to-player trades are disabled as an anti-bot measure, with the Market as the hub for trading. Check in game before you plan around it.

A system can stop some players from listing gathered materials for sale, based on their gameplay history. The October 20/21 update adjusted it so some restricted players can trade normally again, while restrictions stay in place for others.

NCSOFT doesn't publish Market prices or a price feed. Players set prices, and they differ from server to server, so the Market on your own server is the only reliable price check.

In the Korean and Taiwanese versions, bound Kina can't be used for Market purchases, and it's spent before regular Kina on fees. NCSOFT hasn't published the Global rule in English, so don't count your bound balance as spending money on the Market.

NCSOFT says buying Kina or Quna from unauthorized parties breaks the Terms of Service and can end your access to the game. It regularly restricts accounts for gold farming and real-money trading.

The membership costs real money and sales pay Kina. Your Kina ↔ Quna Exchange rate links the two: the membership's price would buy a certain amount of Quna, and that Quna sells for a certain amount of Kina on your server.

A transfer won't go through while you have anything on the Market, so check this before you move.
The first transfer period costs 0 Quna per account and 0 Quna per character. If the destination server doesn't have enough character slots, each extra slot costs 1,000 Quna.

Kina in your Cube and Character Storage transfers, but Kina in Server Storage doesn't. Quna and Mileage transfer in full and are added to what you have on the new server. An active membership moves too and is combined with any membership there.

The Market is where players buy and sell items for Kina. On the Global version it sits behind the Special Quai Membership: NCSOFT's membership notice lists "Items cannot be listed for sale/Purchase unavailable" without it, and "Items can be listed for sale/Purchase available" with it. The World Market follows the same rule. So a free player can't sell loot for Kina on the Market at all, which is the main reason players ask about the "Market subscription".
The membership is $14.99 for 30 days and covers every character on the server you buy it on. It also unlocks the Kina ↔ Quna Exchange, Remote Storage and a few other benefits, listed in the board above.
It depends on how much Kina your sales bring in, compared with what the membership's price buys in Quna and that Quna is worth in Kina. The comparison works like this:
At the US list price, the membership ($14.99) costs the same as the 1,000-Quna pack, so it's worth roughly 1,000 Quna of Kina at your server's rate. If your sales bring in more than that each month, selling alone covers it. If not, the membership is still a cost you pay for its other benefits.
NCSOFT doesn't publish Market prices or a price API, and prices are set by players on each server, so they can differ a lot between servers. Rather than show numbers we can't verify, this page gives you a private log: note the prices you see, and it shows the latest, low, median and high for each item over the last 7 days, 30 days or all time. Export it as CSV to keep a backup or move it to another device.
NCSOFT says buying Kina or Quna from unauthorized parties breaks the Terms of Service and can end your access to the game, and it posts account restrictions for gold farming and real-money trading regularly. The safe ways to get Kina are playing and selling on the Market. If you trade Quna for Kina, use the in-game Exchange.
