Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Hunter Vault — pricing, privacy, features, and how to get started.

General

Hunter Vault is a gamified personal finance tracker inspired by RPG games like Solo Leveling. It turns everyday financial habits into quests, rewards smart money decisions with XP and rank upgrades, and helps you track expenses, manage income, pay off debt, and reach savings goals — all 100% offline with no account required.
HunterVault turns financial actions into game mechanics. Every expense you track earns XP. Every debt payment advances your rank. Savings goals become missions with progress bars. Instead of relying on willpower, gamification builds financial habits naturally by making progress visible and rewarding — the same psychology that makes games addictive, applied to your money.
Most budgeting apps feel like homework. Hunter Vault feels like a game. Instead of spreadsheets and clinical dashboards, you level up a Hunter character, complete daily quests, and rise through ranks from E to S+. It combines the structure of a serious finance tracker with the motivation of an RPG — making it easier to stay consistent with your money habits long-term.
Hunter Vault is for anyone who wants to get better with money but struggles to stick with traditional budgeting apps. It's especially popular with gamers, young adults building their first financial habits, and people who find spreadsheets too boring to maintain. If you've tried and quit other finance apps, Hunter Vault was built for you.

No. Hunter Vault works fully offline. You don't need Wi-Fi or mobile data to use any feature. The app only needs internet to initially download from the App Store or Google Play — after that, everything works without a connection.
No account is ever required. You download the app and start immediately — no sign-up, no email, no password. Your data is yours from the first tap.
No. Hunter Vault has no connection to your bank or any financial institution. All transactions are entered manually by you. This is intentional — it keeps your data completely private and forces mindful engagement with every expense.

Getting Started

Download the app from Google Play or the App Store, then follow the personalized onboarding journey. It detects your currency automatically, asks about your financial goals, and sets up your Hunter Path in a few minutes. No configuration manual required.
The Hunter Path System lets you choose a financial focus: Net Worth Tracker, Debt Slayer, Wealth Builder, or Budget Master. Each path gives you custom missions, tailored tips, and focused progress tracking aligned with your current goal. You can switch paths as your priorities change.
You earn XP by logging expenses and income, completing daily and weekly quests, hitting savings milestones, and maintaining streaks. XP fills your Power Level bar — fill it enough and you rank up. Your rank (E through S) reflects real financial discipline, not just time spent in the app.
Ranks go from E (beginner) through D, C, B, A, and S (master). Each rank requires consistent financial behavior to reach — logging regularly, completing quests, staying within budget, and hitting goals. Your rank is a badge of real-world financial discipline.
