Debts become Dungeon Raids and savings goals become Crystal Goals with progress bars. Instead of relying on willpower, gamification builds financial habits by making progress visible and rewarding.

Most budgeting apps feel like homework. Hunter Vault feels like a game. Instead of spreadsheets and clinical dashboards, you level up a Hunter character, complete daily quests, and rise through ranks from E to S. Yes. Core budgeting is free, with no ads — expense tracking, income logging, budgets, debt tracking, savings goals, daily quests, and rank progression (E → S). The free tier has limits (8 budgets, 3 recurring entries, 5 accounts, 3 debts and 2 savings goals). An optional one-time Awakened Hunter upgrade removes those limits and adds subcategories and the Awakened Collection of cosmetics. Budgeting never requires a subscription.

Awakened Hunter makes accounts, debts, budget categories, savings goals and recurring transactions unlimited (the free plan allows 5 accounts, 3 debts, 2 goals, 8 budget categories and 3 recurring transactions). It adds subcategories, the Money Flow detail and earlier months in Reports, the Awakened Collection of shop cosmetics (themes, app icons and the rarest pieces) and the Elite Hunter title. It's a one-time purchase of $15.99 USD with lifetime access, not a subscription. Hunter Pass, Hunter Vault Cloud and Shared Vault are separate.

Budgeting never requires a subscription. Awakened Hunter is a one-time purchase of $15.99 USD. Three optional subscriptions exist: Hunter Pass, which powers the Huntee AI assistant and Smart Import from screenshots and PDFs; cloud sync for backup and multi-device access; and Shared Vault, for sharing a budget with up to 5 other people, who join free. The free tier is not a trial and has no time limit. We will never introduce ads or sell your financial data.

Yes. Approved creators get free Premium, their own creator code that gives their audience 10% off Awakened Hunter, and 20% commission on every Awakened Hunter sale made with it. Yes, with a Shared Vault. It's a separate vault for shared accounts, budgets and bills that up to 6 people can use, and every entry shows who added it. You give each person a role: admins manage members, members add and edit, and viewers only look. The owner needs a Shared Vault subscription, and the people they invite join free with a link. Yes. Hunter Vault is offline-first — your financial data stays on your device by default, with no bank connection and no account required. It only leaves your device if you turn on an online feature: optional cloud sync (a separate subscription) backs it up, a Shared Vault syncs its entries through our servers to the members you invite (your Personal vault is never shared), Huntee and Smart Import send the relevant data or statement to Google Gemini, and the opt-in Weekly Hunter Board shares quest and streak data but never amounts. Firebase Analytics collects aggregate usage data that never includes your financial data, and we never sell your data.

No. Budgeting, tracking, quests and reports all work fully offline — no Wi-Fi or mobile data needed after you download the app. Only the optional online features need a connection: cloud sync, Shared Vaults, the Huntee AI assistant, Smart Import from screenshots and PDFs, and the Weekly Hunter Board.

No. You download the app and start immediately — no sign-up, no email, no password. You only sign in if you choose an online feature that needs one, such as cloud sync, a Shared Vault, Huntee, or Smart Import from screenshots and PDFs.

No. Hunter Vault never connects to your bank or any financial institution. Transactions come from you: you enter them, or you import a statement file you choose to upload with Smart Import. This is intentional — your bank login never goes into the app, and you stay engaged with every expense.

Download the app from Google Play or the App Store, then follow the personalized onboarding journey. It detects your currency automatically, asks about your financial goals, and sets up your Hunter Path in a few minutes. No configuration manual required.

The Hunter Path System sets your financial focus: Debt Slayer (paying off debt), Vault Builder (savings goals), Mana Master (budgeting), or Full Tracker (income, expenses and net worth). Each path gives you custom missions, tailored tips, and focused progress tracking aligned with your current goal. You can switch paths as your priorities change.

You earn XP for real money habits: completing daily and weekly quests, logging expenses and income, reviewing your month, saving and paying down debt. Streaks multiply it, from 1.05x at 3 days to 1.25x at 30. XP raises your level, every level pays Gold, and every 5th level unlocks a cosmetic. When your XP reaches the next rank, you tap Ascend to rank up.

There are six ranks: E Beginner, D Novice, C Fighter, B Warrior, A Elite and S Sovereign, starting at 0, 5,000, 15,000, 35,000, 65,000 and 100,000 XP. Each rank has five sub-tiers, I to V, and each sub-tier pays a little Gold. Ranking up isn't automatic: when you reach the next rank, you tap Ascend, and the ascension pays XP and Gold. Missing a day never costs Gold; your streak can reset, and a Streak Shield protects it.

Yes. You can export a backup file from your old device and import it on the new one. With the optional cloud sync subscription, you can also back up to the cloud on one device and restore on any other automatically.
