How we verify currency information

AION 2 launched first in Korea and Taiwan, and details can differ between regions and patches. Each entry shows:

  • Status. “Verified · official source” means NCSOFT's own site, notices or store pages. “Verified · press report” means an established outlet reporting official information. “Unverified” means we couldn't confirm it, so the entry stays brief.
  • Region. Which version the information applies to. Global-version facts aren't assumed from Korean or Taiwanese sources.
  • Last reviewed. When we last checked the sources (all entries: October 9, 2026).

We don't copy fan databases or wikis. If something's wrong or out of date, the contact page reaches us. Please include a source.

Using the currencies in your planning

Once you know what a currency buys, the calculators help you plan for it. Track how fast you earn Kina in the Farming Session Tracker, set a target in the Kina Planner, and estimate enhancement costs with the Upgrade Budget Calculator. Real money you spend on the game belongs in the separate Spending Calculator, never mixed with in-game balances.

Frequently asked questions

What is the main currency in AION 2?
Kina (also spelled Kinah) is the main in-game currency: earned through gameplay and used on the player Market and at NPC shops. On Global, the Market needs an active membership. See the Kina guide for sources.
What is Quna in AION 2?
Quna is the premium currency, bought with real money. It buys shop items and the premium Daeva Pass, and players trade it for Kina through the Kina ↔ Quna Exchange. See the Quna guide.
Why are some currencies marked "Unverified"?
We only call information verified when an official source (or a reputable outlet reporting official information) supports it, and we note which region it applies to. AION 2 launched in Korea and Taiwan first, so some details may differ in other versions. Unverified notes are kept short and clearly labelled.
Does the balance tracker connect to my game account?
No. It's a manual log: you type in your balances and targets, and each update is saved as a snapshot in this browser so you can see progress over time. Nothing is uploaded or linked to your account.
Will you add more currencies?
Yes, as information can be verified. Each entry shows its last review date. We'd rather show fewer currencies than publish guesses.
