I'm Alger Makiputin — a software developer with 9+ years of experience building apps, and the person who built Hunter Vault. I'm not a financial advisor. I'm someone who tried every popular budgeting app and kept quitting after a few weeks. Spreadsheets were too rigid. Bank apps were too clinical. Nothing made the habit stick.
The breakthrough came from gaming: Solo Leveling's progression system — where every action builds toward something bigger — mapped perfectly onto personal finance. Track an expense = gain XP.
