Hunter Vault is an independent daily quest app inspired by Solo Leveling's System. Quests, E-to-S hunter ranks, streak multipliers and penalties all run on the one thing fitness and habit System apps leave out: what you spend, save and owe.
As of October 2026, there's no official System app. The best-known official game is Solo Leveling: Arise, an action RPG from Netmarble. What exists instead are independent, real-life System apps like Solo Leveling's, and most of them focus on workouts and habits.
Hunter Vault is one of those independent apps, and it's ours. It's a manual budgeting app for iOS and Android, so its System runs on your money: quests to log and review your spending, ranks earned by staying consistent, and penalties when you blow a budget or break a streak.

If you've read the manhwa or watched the anime, you already know how this works. Here's how each piece maps onto Hunter Vault.
| In the System | In Hunter Vault |
|---|---|
| The Daily Quest | A Daily Gate of system-set money tasks, like Track Today’s Spending and the Daily Money Check-In. Each task you clear damages the day’s mini boss and pays out XP. |
| Hunter ranks, E to S | Six hunter ranks from E (Beginner) to S (Monarch), each split into sub-tiers I to V, earned through consistent money habits. |
| Leveling up | XP for logging spending and income, finishing quests, hitting savings milestones and keeping streaks. Routine XP is capped each day, so you can’t farm it by spamming entries. |
| Stat points | Hunter attributes that track real behavior: Awareness (how consistently you log), Discipline (staying within budget) and Defense (how well your bills and savings are protected). |
| The penalty quest | Penalties in gold. Break a streak, go more than 25% over a budget’s weekly share, or skip debt payments for a month, and the System takes in-app gold. Never real money. |
| Dungeons and bosses | Debt payoff as raids, with a snowball or avalanche strategy, progress bars and a projected debt-free date. |
| Loot | Gold, keys and chests from quests. Gold buys cosmetic themes, badges and borders in the shop. |
| Inventory | Money vaults: records that name money by purpose, so you can see what’s actually free to spend. |
| Streak buffs | Streak milestones multiply your XP, from ×1.05 at 3 days up to ×1.25 at 30 days. |
| System notifications | A daily check-in reminder (on by default, and you can turn it off), plus an in-app weekly review, the System Debrief, that sums up your week and pays XP and gold. |
Setup happens once. After that, the Daily Gate resets every day and the System keeps score.
During setup, tell the System where you are with money, like "Paying off debt" or "Building savings", and it sets your Hunter Path: Debt Slayer, Vault Builder, Mana Master or Full Tracker. Your path shapes your missions and tips, and you can switch it later in settings.
Create budgets with monthly limits in Budget Control. Go more than 25% over a budget’s weekly share and the System takes gold when the week resets, so set limits you can actually keep.
Log what you spend, do the Daily Money Check-In and clear the other daily tasks. Each one damages the mini boss and pays out XP toward your next sub-tier.
Come back tomorrow. Streaks multiply your XP, and breaking one costs gold, so the second day matters as much as the first.
A System without consequences is just a to-do list. Hunter Vault's penalties hit the gold you earn from quests, the currency you'd otherwise spend on themes, badges and borders. That makes a blown budget sting a little, without touching a single real peso or dollar.
The System checks once a week for budgets and once a month for debts, the first time you open the app after each reset. An unfinished daily task has no penalty on its own; the streak is what's at stake.

Want the System for workouts and habits too? Pair Hunter Vault with a general life RPG. Here's how Hunter Vault compares with Habitica, the best-known one.
No affiliation with Solo Leveling, its creators or its publishers, and no official art or characters.
Its quests are about money only. Use a fitness or habit app for the rest of your Daily Quest.
They cost in-app gold. Your balances, budgets and bank stay exactly as they are.
You log spending yourself or import a CSV you export from your bank for free. It never connects to your bank.
Not as of October 2026. The best-known official game is Solo Leveling: Arise, an action RPG published by Netmarble. Apps that recreate the System in real life, Hunter Vault included, are independent and unofficial.
No. Hunter Vault is an independent app inspired by the System's style of progression. It has no affiliation, partnership or endorsement with Solo Leveling, its creators or its publishers, and it doesn't use official art or characters.
No. Hunter Vault's quests are about money: logging spending and income, daily check-ins and staying within budget. For push-ups and runs, use a fitness or habit tracker alongside it.
The System takes in-app gold, never real money. Breaking a streak of 2 days or more costs 5 gold per streak day, up to 100. Going more than 25% over a budget's weekly share costs 25 gold per budget, for up to 3 budgets. A month with active debts and no payments costs 75 gold. An unfinished daily task on its own has no penalty.
There are six ranks, E through S, each split into sub-tiers I to V. XP from logging, quests, savings milestones and streaks fills your progress bar. Routine XP is capped each day, so your rank reflects consistency rather than how many entries you can spam.
Yes. Create a Gacha budget with a monthly limit, add Solo Leveling: Arise as a subcategory, and log each top-up in real money. Other gacha games get their own subcategories under the same budget, and our gacha spending tracker page walks through the setup.
Core budgeting is free and has no ads. The free tier covers up to 8 budgets, 3 recurring entries, 5 accounts, 3 debts and 2 savings goals. Hunter Elite is a one-time $15.99 upgrade that removes those limits. Budgeting never requires a subscription; the optional subscriptions are Hunter Pass (for the Huntee AI assistant and Smart Import from screenshots and PDFs) and cloud sync.
Download Hunter Vault free on iOS and Android. No account needed to start. Log one expense and the System starts keeping score.
