Quests Explained: Daily, Weekly, Side and Main Story

Daily quests reset at midnight, and every day there's a mini boss: each daily quest you finish does one damage, so clearing three defeats it. I log a $12 lunch, which completes Track Today's Spending, then answer Today's Reflection on Home. That makes three, so I claim the boss reward and open the daily chest. Finish every daily quest for an extra perfect clear reward.

My streak broke on camera, because I didn't log anything the day before. A missed day resets your streak and costs a little gold, and the next thing you log starts a new one. Weekly quests run a week at a time and pay more, side quests are extra challenges like logging 100 transactions, and the main story is a chain of chapters that teaches you the app. Quests pay XP and gold: XP raises your rank, and gold is spent in the Hunter Shop.

Paid features shown: none. Spending gold in the Hunter Shop needs Premium (mentioned, not shown). Recorded on a Premium account. Features and pricing can change; check the app for current details.

0:00 Open the Quest screen

Quests turn good money habits into small goals, with XP and gold as rewards. Here's how they work. Scroll down and tap the Daily Quest card.

This is the Quest screen. There are four tabs: daily, weekly, side, and main story. The numbers show how many you've finished.

0:22 Daily reset, streak and the mini boss

Daily quests reset at midnight. The timer shows how much of today is left. Below that are your streak, the daily chest, and the XP you still need to reach the next rank.

Every day there's a mini boss. Each daily quest you finish does one damage, so clearing three defeats it.

0:44 Today's daily quests and how to complete them

Scroll down to today's quests. The daily money check-in is already done. It counts when you spend a few seconds on Home. Tap View all directives to see all six.

Tap a quest to see what it asks for. Let's open End-of-Day Reflection.

It shows your progress, the steps, and the reward. The reflection card shows up on Home once you've logged an expense today, or marked a no-spend day. Let's go back and log one.

1:15 Log an expense to complete a quest

Tap Quick Log, then Add Expense.

$12 for lunch, in food and groceries. Logging it also completes Track Today's Spending. Tap Add Expense.

1:30 What a missed day does to your streak

My streak just broke, because I didn't log anything yesterday. A missed day resets your streak and costs a little gold, and today's expense starts a new one.

1:40 Finish the daily reflection

Now go to Home. Today's Reflection asks how spending felt today. I'll tap On track.

That's another quest done. Scroll down and open the Daily Quest card again.

1:54 Claim the boss reward and daily chest

Three quests are done, so the boss is defeated. Tap Claim boss reward.

Clearing three also unlocks the daily chest. Tap Chest ready to open it. Finish every quest today for an extra perfect clear reward.

2:10 Weekly and side quests

Weekly quests run for a week at a time and pay more. They track bigger habits, like paying down debt or recording your income.

Side quests are extra challenges, like reviewing your budget each month, or logging 100 transactions. Tap Enter on any card to see what it takes.

2:29 Main story chapters

Main story is a chain of chapters that teaches you the app, one step at a time. I'm on chapter two, First Steps: log 15 expenses. Today's lunch made it 11.

Quests give you XP and gold. XP raises your rank, and gold is spent in the Hunter Shop, which needs Premium. Next, we'll look at how ranks work. Links to download Hunter Vault are in the description.
