Hunter Vault v2.0 — Update

Version 2.0 introduces a fully reimagined onboarding experience, critical bug fixes, and significant under-the-hood stability improvements.

Version 2.0 is a major milestone focused on first impressions, clarity, and long-term stability. This release introduces a fully redesigned onboarding experience, critical bug fixes, and foundational improvements across the codebase.

Onboarding — Fully Reimagined

The onboarding experience has been rebuilt from the ground up with a new flow, improved clarity, and a more polished, premium feel. (New to the app? The first 7 days walkthrough covers the new flow step by step.)

New flow: Welcome → Choose Your Path → Name Your Hunter → Your Arsenal → Currency → Begin Your Journey → Notifications

Welcome Screen

Visual noise has been reduced, with ambient effects pushed to the edges to keep focus on core content. Feature highlights are now presented as a clean, stacked list for better readability. The primary action button has been refined with improved depth and responsiveness.

Choose Your Path

Selection is now clearer with a visible checkmark indicator. The Tracker path is highlighted as a popular option. Card content has been condensed to keep decisions quick and scannable, and the CTA now reinforces commitment with “Confirm Path.” Additional trust messaging has been added.

Your Arsenal (New)

A new step that highlights the tools unlocked based on the chosen path. This reinforces user decisions and provides clarity before continuing.

Currency Detection Improvements

Currency is now determined using device timezone rather than language settings, improving accuracy for international users. The interface prioritizes the detected currency while still allowing full manual selection.

Begin Your Journey

CTA messaging is now personalized based on the selected path, giving each user a more tailored and immersive start.

Bug Fixes

Currency Selection Persistence

Fixed an issue where accepting the default detected currency did not save the selection, causing the app to revert to USD. The selected currency is now always stored correctly.

Getting Started Checklist

Resolved an incorrect premium restriction on “Set a Financial Goal.” This feature is now properly available to all users.

Android Icon Update

Updated the Android app icon to properly support adaptive icon systems. The new purple shield design now displays correctly across all devices and densities, replacing the outdated placeholder icon.

Code Quality & Stability

This release also includes significant under-the-hood improvements:
