Once it's synced, auto-backup is on, so new changes back up on their own, and Sync now backs up right away. Then I set up a new phone: sign in with the same account, open Hunter Vault Cloud, tap Enable cloud backup and choose Restore cloud data to this device. Back on Home, the accounts, budgets, bills, goals and hunter rank are all there. If you'd rather not subscribe, the free backup file in Settings works too.
Paid features shown: Hunter Vault Cloud (optional subscription; prices aren't shown). Demo data. Features and pricing can change; check the app for current details.

0:00 Open Hunter Vault Cloud
Hunter Vault Cloud backs up your data and keeps it in sync across your devices. It's an optional subscription. In Settings, tap Hunter Vault Cloud.
Your data always lives on your phone first. The cloud keeps an encrypted copy, and the app works fully offline either way. Tap Enable cloud backup.
0:22 Cloud backup found: restore or replace
This account already has a backup from another phone, so Hunter Vault asks what to do. It never merges or overwrites anything without asking. Restore copies the cloud backup onto this phone. Replace uploads this phone instead. I'll replace it with this phone.
0:40 Auto-backup and Sync now
The first backup takes a few seconds. Now it's synced, and auto-backup is on, so new changes back up on their own.
Tap Sync now any time to back up right away. Force full backup uploads everything again, and Restore from cloud brings your backup back.
1:00 Restore your budget on a new phone
Now let's set up a new phone. Install Hunter Vault, sign in with the same account, and the app starts empty. Tap the gear.
Open Hunter Vault Cloud.
This phone hasn't backed up yet. Tap Enable cloud backup.
This time, choose Restore cloud data to this device.
Your backup downloads, and this phone is now synced too.
1:26 Everything's back on Home
Back on Home, everything is here: your accounts, budgets, bills, goals, and your hunter rank.
Hunter Vault Cloud is separate from Premium and Hunter Pass. If you'd rather not subscribe, the free backup file in Settings works too. Links to download Hunter Vault are in the description.
