Hunter Vault Creator Playbook: Content Ideas, Hooks and Talking Points

Ideas for videos and posts that show Hunter Vault as it really is, plus the facts that keep your content accurate. Use what fits your channel and skip the rest.

On this guide

// what's in here

  • 12 content ideas by niche, each with a hook, what to show on screen and a note to keep it accurate
  • A simple structure for short videos, long videos and posts
  • A fact sheet: what to say about Hunter Vault and what to avoid
  • A pre-post checklist, including disclosure and privacy

Before you film

  • Use it for real first. A week of actual use gives you real opinions, a real streak and real screens. There's no posting deadline.
  • Use sample numbers. Don't show your real balances, debts or anyone else's data. A fresh install with made-up amounts looks just as good on camera.
  • Know where your code goes. Your audience enters it on the Hunter Elite upgrade screen ("Have a code? Enter code"), in the app, before they buy. How creator codes work has the details.

12 content ideas

Gaming

My budget has a power level now

Hook: "I gave my budget an RPG rank, and now I actually open it."

Show: The dashboard rank badge and XP bar, then logging an expense and watching XP land.

Keep it accurate: Rank comes from total XP: logging, quests, savings milestones, debt payments and streaks. There's no XP for simply staying under budget.

I turned my debt into a raid boss

Hook: "This loan has 6,000 HP. Let's raid it."

Show: Dungeon Raids: a debt as a boss with HP, then a payment knocking the HP down.

Keep it accurate: Show the mechanic, not a promised debt-free date. Use sample numbers.

30-day quest run

Hook: "Day 1 of doing my money quests every day for a month."

Show: Daily directives and the streak counter on day 1, day 7 and day 30, as a series.

Keep it accurate: Only post the streak you actually have. A missed day restarts it, and that honesty makes better content.

Anime and System-style progression

Living like I have a System, but for money

Hook: "What if your bank account had a System window?"

Show: Quests, the weekly System Debrief and rank-ups from E toward S.

Keep it accurate: Say "RPG-style" or "inspired by System-style progression". Hunter Vault isn't affiliated with Solo Leveling. Don't use official art or characters.

What my anime hobby actually costs

Hook: "I tracked every anime purchase for a month. The total hurt."

Show: A month of logged merch, figures and streaming, then the Reports breakdown.

Keep it accurate: Pairs well with the free gacha spending and subscription audit calculators on huntervault.app.

Gacha, TCG and collectibles

My gacha budget, with a pity plan

Hook: "I set a gacha budget before the banner dropped. Here's how it went."

Show: A monthly gacha budget category, then each top-up logged against it.

Keep it accurate: The budget is a plan you check, not a lock. Hunter Vault doesn't block purchases or cap spending per game.

Pack-opening budget check

Hook: "Every pack I opened this month, and what it cost me."

Show: A TCG category with packs logged, and the remaining amount for the month.

Keep it accurate: Good as a recurring monthly video.

Personal finance, students and adulting

How much can I actually spend until payday?

Hook: "My balance said ₱8,000. My real spending money was ₱2,100."

Show: The Safe Until Payday number on the dashboard, and how bills, savings and debt are set aside first.

Keep it accurate: Use your own sample numbers. Explain that the number is what's left after money you've protected.

A budgeting app that never touches my bank

Hook: "I don't want to give an app my bank login. So I don't."

Show: Logging an expense by hand in a few seconds, and CSV import if you use it.

Keep it accurate: Be honest that manual logging is a habit you have to build. That's what the quests and streaks are for.

Splitting the dinner bill without the awkward chat

Hook: "Who still owes me for that dinner? Not anymore."

Show: Adding an expense with the split toggle, your share counting as spending, and friends' shares as money owed back.

Keep it accurate: Friends don't need the app. There's no shared group ledger.

Philippines

Ipon challenge, RPG edition

Hook: "52-week ipon challenge, but every deposit levels me up."

Show: The free printable Ipon Challenge chart from huntervault.app/tools/ipon-challenge/, plus a Crystal Goal in the app tracking the same target.

Keep it accurate: Peso amounts work throughout the app.

Any niche

Honest review after two weeks

Hook: "I used this gamified budgeting app for two weeks. Here's the truth."

Show: What you used, what you liked, what annoyed you, and what the free tier covers before Hunter Elite.

Keep it accurate: Reviews that name a real downside are more convincing. Recommend the free version first, as the guidelines ask.

A structure that works

FormatStructure
Short video (TikTok, Reels, Shorts)Hook in the first two seconds. Then a screen recording of one feature doing one thing. End with your honest take, and say your code and that you're a Hunter Vault creator partner.
Long video (YouTube)Your problem with budgeting. A walkthrough of the features you actually use. What's free and what Hunter Elite adds. One real downside. Your code and disclosure when you mention it, plus in the description.
Carousel or postSlide 1 is the hook. Middle slides are screenshots with one point each. The last slide has your takeaway, your code and the disclosure at the top of the caption.
Blog, Reddit or DiscordA personal write-up of how you use it. Follow each community's self-promotion rules. Many subreddits ban referral codes, so check first.

Sample captions

Swap in your own words and your own code. Keep the disclosure at the start.

#ad I'm a Hunter Vault creator partner. [One honest sentence about how you use it and what changed.] Code YOURCODE takes 10% off Hunter Elite in the app, but try the free version first.
Hunter Vault creator partner (I earn from my code). My credit card is now a raid boss with HP, and every payment hits it. Free to start on iPhone and Android. YOURCODE = 10% off Hunter Elite.

Pre-post checklist

  • Disclosure is at the start of the caption, and spoken or shown on screen when you mention the code.
  • You've used your platform's paid-partnership label where it has one.
  • No real balances, account numbers or other people's data are visible.
  • No promised results: no "you'll save ₱10,000" and no "debt-free in 6 months".
  • Your code is spelled right, and you've said where it goes: the upgrade screen in the app.
  • Claims match the fact sheet above.

The disclosure rules are explained in more detail in how to disclose sponsored posts and creator codes, and the full program rules are in the terms. Need the logo or screenshots? Grab them from the media kit.
