NIKKE Pity System Explained: Gold Mileage, Carry-Over and the Real Cost of 200 Pulls

NIKKE has no soft pity. Gold Mileage is the guarantee: 200 tickets buy the featured Nikke and carry over. What 200 pulls cost, plus a 4th anniversary plan.

Quest Briefing What you'll take away
  • NIKKE has no soft pity and no 50/50 guarantee. Each pull is a flat 4% SSR chance, and the featured Nikke is 2% (1% on Pilgrim and Over-Spec pick-ups)
  • The real pity is Gold Mileage: 1 ticket per pull on a pick-up, and 200 tickets buy the featured Nikke. Tickets carry over to the next pick-up
  • 200 pulls = 60,000 Gems = $774.90 at Midasbuy's US prices with no bonus, or $550.84 with every first-purchase double
  • At 2%, half of players get the featured Nikke within 35 pulls and 90% within 114. At 1%, the 90% line is the 200-ticket exchange
  • The 4th anniversary update lands October 29. Free recruit attempts don't earn Gold Mileage, so bank tickets from paid pulls for the unit you want most

“Does NIKKE have pity?” is one of the first things players search before a big banner, and the 4th anniversary update on October 29, 2026 brings two new pick-ups at once. The short answer is no, not the kind Genshin or Honkai: Star Rail players know. NIKKE’s odds never rise. Its guarantee is a ticket you earn on every pull, and that changes how you should budget.

This guide explains how NIKKE’s Gold Mileage works, what a full 200-pull spark costs in real money, and how to plan for the anniversary pick-ups without spending more than you meant to.

Hunter Vault isn’t affiliated with SHIFT UP, Level Infinite or Tencent. GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE is a trademark of its owners. Rates and Mileage rules come from NIKKE’s patch-note text (via a third-party copy), prices come from Midasbuy, Tencent’s official top-up store, and every source is listed at the end.

Quick Answer: How NIKKE Pity Works

NIKKE has no soft pity and no hard pity on its rates. Every pull is a flat 4% chance at an SSR, and on a standard pick-up the featured Nikke is 2% of all pulls. Pilgrim and Over-Spec pick-ups use 1%. Missing doesn’t make the next pull any likelier.

The guarantee is Gold Mileage. Every pull on a pick-up earns one Gold Mileage ticket, and 200 tickets buy the featured Nikke in the Mileage Shop. Unused tickets don’t disappear when the recruitment ends. So the most you can ever need for one copy is 200 pulls, minus the tickets you already hold.

The rates, ticket rules and carry-over come from the text NIKKE publishes with each pick-up, as copied by Nikke.gg for the May 14, 2026 and October 30, 2025 updates. The 300-Gem price and the 1% rule for Pilgrim and Over-Spec units come from Loot & Waifus, a community guide.

How Gold Mileage Works

Think of Gold Mileage as a punch card. Every pull on a pick-up punches it once. At 200 punches you can trade the card for the featured Nikke, whether or not the game ever gave her to you.

Three details matter for your wallet:

  1. The odds don’t change as tickets pile up. Pull 199 has the same 2% as pull 1. That’s different from HoYoverse games, where the odds climb near the end. In NIKKE, if you’re at 150 tickets, the next 50 pulls are just 50 more 2% rolls, plus the exchange at the end.
  2. Getting her early doesn’t cost you the tickets. If the featured Nikke drops on pull 30, you keep all 30 tickets. They go toward a duplicate or a future unit.
  3. Free pulls don’t count. Patch notes for past pick-ups say “Gold Mileage Tickets are not earned from free recruit attempts.” Free daily recruits still roll the 2%, but they don’t move you toward the exchange.
⚠️
Limited units leave the Mileage Shop

The May 2026 notes say collab units EVE and Raven wouldn’t be available in the Mileage Shop after their recruitment ended. Your tickets stay, but a limited unit doesn’t. If you’re planning to buy a limited Nikke with tickets, exchange before the banner closes.

Does NIKKE Pity Carry Over?

Yes, as tickets. Patch notes say, “When Special Recruit ends, unused Gold Mileage Tickets will not disappear.” There’s no separate pull counter to carry, because nothing else is tracked. Your ticket balance is the whole story, and you can see it in the Mileage Shop. That makes it the number to write down before every banner.

What the Odds Actually Look Like

Because every pull is independent, the chance of getting the featured Nikke by a given pull is simple: 1 minus the chance of missing every time, until the exchange makes it certain at 200.

Chance of getting NIKKE's featured Nikke by pull count, at a 2% and a 1% featured rate, with the 200-ticket Gold Mileage exchange. Line chart. At a 2% featured rate the chance is 39.7% by pull 25, 63.6% by 50, 86.7% by 100, 95.2% by 150 and 98.2% by 199, then 100% at 200 through the exchange. At a 1% featured rate it is 22.2% by pull 25, 39.5% by 50, 63.4% by 100, 77.9% by 150 and 86.5% by 199, then 100% at 200.

2% (standard pick-up)35 pulls114 pulls49 pulls200 pulls
1% (Pilgrim, Over-Spec)69 pulls200 pulls (the exchange)87 pulls200 pulls

Two things stand out:

Copies stack up fast. Getting a featured Nikke to MLB (4 copies) takes 184 pulls for an even chance and 265 for a 90% chance at 2%, and the worst case is 800 pulls, where every copy is bought with tickets.

What 200 Pulls Cost in Real Money

One pull is 300 Gems, so a full spark is 60,000 Gems. Here’s what that costs at Midasbuy, Tencent’s official NIKKE top-up store, in US dollars as of October 25, 2026.

GoalPullsGemsCheapest at repeat pricesWith every first-purchase double unused
Even chance at 2%3510,500$136.96$70.96
90% chance at 2%11434,200$442.90$224.91
Full exchange (worst case)20060,000$774.90$550.84

The cheapest mix at repeat prices for 60,000 Gems is nine 6,200 packs and one 4,200 pack. That’s $3.87 per pull at the $79.99 pack. Midasbuy advertises a 100% bonus on a first purchase, which halves that to about $1.94 per pull, but only once per pack.

💡
Your real number is smaller than the worst case

These are top-up costs from zero. Gems you’ve saved, Advanced Recruit Vouchers and banked Gold Mileage tickets all come off the top. Our gacha pity calculator now covers NIKKE: enter your tickets, Gems, vouchers and the banner’s featured rate, and it prices only the pulls you’re missing.

A note on prices: Midasbuy doesn’t show a repeat-purchase bonus to a signed-out visitor, so the table assumes none. Resellers name some packs with a bonus, such as “6200 + 1500”. If your store shows one, your cost per pull is lower. In-app prices on iOS and Android can also differ, and Apple lists a $4.99 30-Day Supply that community guides say pays out Gems daily. Check your own shop before you buy.

The NIKKE 4th Anniversary: What’s Free and What to Plan For

The 4th anniversary update goes live on October 29, 2026 on PC, iOS and Android, according to Game8 and Inven Global. Here’s what’s been announced:

The featured rates for Marian: Queen and Scarlet weren’t published before the update. Check each banner’s Recruit Info on October 29: if it says 1%, plan around the 200-ticket exchange.

⚠️
Free pulls give you a chance, not tickets

21 free pulls at a 2% featured rate give about a 35% chance at the unit, or about 19% at 1%. But free recruit attempts don’t earn Gold Mileage, so they don’t move you toward the exchange. Count them as a bonus, not as part of your 200.

A Spending Plan for the Anniversary Banners

You can’t control the 2%, but you can control the number you’re willing to spend. Here’s a plan that works for any pick-up.

  1. Check your ticket balance. Open the Mileage Shop and write down your Gold Mileage tickets. Your worst case is 200 minus that number.
  2. Count what you already have. Divide your Gems by 300, then add your Advanced Recruit Vouchers. Leave free daily pulls out.
  3. Pick one must-have. Marian: Queen and Scarlet overlap from November 5 to November 19. Gold Mileage is one balance, so 200 tickets buy one unit, not one of each. In the worst case, both would take 400 pulls.
  4. Set a money limit before October 29. Choose your number in dollars, not Gems: the 90% figure for a 2% banner, or the full 200 for a 1% banner, minus what you hold. Put it in your budget as a one-off line.
  5. Use free pulls first. They cost nothing. If one of them hits, your paid plan shrinks.
  6. Stop at your number. If the unit doesn’t drop, your tickets are still there for the next pick-up.

If you’re a free-to-play player, the anniversary is the time to spend saved Gems, not to start buying them. The free SSR and the free pulls are the value. A banner you skip today leaves your tickets ready for the next unit you actually want.

Where Hunter Vault Fits

Hunter Vault is our own app, so weigh this with that in mind. It’s a manual budgeting app with RPG-style quests, XP and ranks, on iOS and Android. It never connects to a bank or to your game accounts. You log each top-up yourself, in real money.

For NIKKE, that can be its own budget category (the free plan allows up to 8), or, with Awakened Hunter, a subcategory under one “Games” budget. A savings goal can hold your banner number with a deadline before the pick-up ends. Budgeting never requires a subscription.

Final Takeaway

NIKKE’s pity is a ticket count, not a rising rate. Each pull is a flat 2% at the featured Nikke, or 1% for Pilgrims and Over-Spec units, and 200 Gold Mileage tickets buy her outright. Tickets carry over, free pulls don’t earn them, and a full spark costs about $775 from zero at US prices. Check your tickets, pick one unit, and set the dollar limit before October 29. Frequently Asked Questions

Does NIKKE have a pity system?

Not one that raises your odds. Every pull is a flat 4% chance at an SSR and a 2% chance at the featured Nikke (1% on Pilgrim and Over-Spec pick-ups), and losing doesn't guarantee the next one. The guarantee is Gold Mileage: each pull on a pick-up earns one ticket, and 200 tickets buy the featured Nikke in the Mileage Shop.

Does NIKKE pity carry over?

Your Gold Mileage tickets do. Patch notes say unused Gold Mileage tickets don't disappear when a recruitment ends, so they carry to the next pick-up. There's no hidden pull counter to carry, because the odds never rise. One catch: limited collab units have left the Mileage Shop when their recruitment ended, so exchange for those before the banner closes.

How much does it cost to spark a Nikke?

200 pulls at 300 Gems each is 60,000 Gems. At Midasbuy's US prices (checked October 25, 2026) that's $774.90 if no bonus applies, or $550.84 if every first-purchase double is still unused. Free Gems, vouchers and banked tickets all cut that number.

How do I check my NIKKE pity count?

Your Gold Mileage ticket count is your pity count. It's shown in the Mileage Shop. Subtract it from 200 to get the most pulls you could need for the current featured Nikke.

Do free recruits give Gold Mileage?

No. Patch notes for past pick-ups say Gold Mileage Tickets are not earned from free recruit attempts. Free daily pulls still give you a chance at the featured Nikke, but they don't move you toward the 200-ticket exchange. Third-party guides disagree on Advanced Recruit Vouchers, so check the banner's Recruit Info.

How many free pulls does the NIKKE 4th anniversary give?

The global press release says up to 259 free recruitment attempts during the event. Korean coverage of the October 24 broadcast says up to 230, including 21 free pulls each on Marian: Queen, Scarlet and a Pilgrim Choice recruitment. Either way, check what each reward is: free recruit attempts don't earn Gold Mileage.
