Hunter Vault ("we", "our", or "the app") is a gamified personal finance tracker developed by Tiny Entry. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application.
The short version: Hunter Vault operates 100% offline. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal or financial data to external servers. Your data stays on your device, under your control.
Information We Do Not Collect
Hunter Vault does not collect any of the following:
- Personal information (name, email, phone number, address)
- Financial data (income, expenses, bank details, account numbers)
- Location data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Usage analytics or behavioral tracking data
- Cookies or similar tracking technologies
How Your Data Is Stored
All data you enter into Hunter Vault — including transactions, budgets, savings goals, and your hunter profile — is stored locally on your device using encrypted IndexedDB storage. This means:
- Your data never leaves your device
- No account or sign-up is required
- No cloud syncing or external backups are performed
- Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all your data
No Third-Party Services
Hunter Vault does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not share your data with anyone because we simply do not have access to it.
No Internet Required
Hunter Vault is designed to function entirely offline. The app does not require an internet connection to operate, and no data is transmitted over the network at any time during normal use.
App Permissions
Hunter Vault requests only the minimum permissions necessary for core functionality. The app does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, location, or other sensitive device features.
Children's Privacy
Hunter Vault does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since the app collects no data whatsoever, it is inherently compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations.
Data Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can delete your data by:
- Clearing the app's data through your device settings
- Uninstalling the app from your device
No additional steps are needed since no data exists on any external server.
